Ecology of Iranian Forests

fa سخن سردبیر Editor's note عمومى General مقاله کوتاه <div style="text-align: justify;">امروزه درک پویایی بوم‌سامانه با استفاده  از تحلیل دادۀ شبکه بوم‌شناختی از جمله مواردی است که نظر محققین جهان را به خود جلب کرده است. علم شبکۀ بوم‌شناختی به محتواهایی مانند شاخص‌های جدید تغییرات زیست‌محیطی، شبکه‌های اجتماعی، اقتصادی و بوم‌سامانه‌ای پرداخته است. بوم‌سامانه‌های جنگل‌های ایران، به‌دلیل پیچیدگی در شبکه‌های مختلف حیاتی و ناحیاتی در اقالیم متنوع آن از ساختار پیچیده‌ای برخوردارند که از نظر بوم‌شناختی می‌تواند یکی از مناطق راه‌بردی و در عین حال حساس در سطح جهانی محسوب شود. این بوم‌سامانه‌ها فراتر از یک پوشش گیاهی، شبکه‌ای پیچیده از تعاملات یا اثرات متقابل بین و درون گونه‌ای (زیواها و نازیواها)، فرآیندهای زی‌زمین‌شیمیایی و خدمات بوم‌سامانه‌ایی هستند که نقش کلیدی در پایداری زیستی انسان و سایر موجودات طبیعی و بومی و بقای حیات در این پهنۀ جغرافیایی را تضمین می‌کنند. با این‌حال، در عصر حاصر این جنگل‌ها تحت تأثیر هم‌زمان تنش‌های طبیعی و مداخلات روز‌افزون انسانی در دورانی حساس از تغییرات مختلف، بخصوص تغییرات اقلیمی در منطقۀ خشک و نیمه‌خشک جهان، قرار گرفته‌اند. این نشریه، با هدف ایجاد بستری علمی و تخصصی، بر آن است تا گره‌های دانش در حوزه‌های مختلف علوم جنگل و بخصوص بوم‌شناسی و جنگل‌شناسی و علوم مرتبط با آنها را باز کند. تمرکز اصلی خود را در درک عمیق‌تر از پویایی‌های بوم‌سامانه‌ای و شناسایی الگوهای حاکم بر جنگل‌های ایران قرار داده است. بررسی‌های شبکه‌های پیچیده، ساختار جوامع گیاهی و حیات‌وحش، تحلیل پاسخ‌های بوم‌شناختی به تغییرات اقلیمی و پیامدهای آن مانند: ریزگردها، تنش‌های آبی، اختلال در تولید، بوم‌گردیِ جنگل، مدیریت پایدار منابع جنگلی از جمله موضوعاتی هستند که مورد توجه این نشریه است. در این شماره تلاش شده است تا مجموعه‌ای از پژوهش‌های دقیق و مبتکرانه گردآوری شود که هریک دریچه‌ای جدید به‌سوی شناخت بهترِ بوم‌سامانه‌های جنگلی ایران می‌گشایند. مقالات حاضر طیف مناسبی از موضوعاتی مانند: ارزیابی دقت مدل‌های ارتفاعی و سنجش‌ازدور پهپادی، بررسی تنوع زیستی و زی‌توده، تحلیل ساختار و پویایی توده‌های جنگلی، خدمات بوم‌سامانه‌ای، مدل‌سازی شاخص‌های ساختاری و کربنی با بهره‌گیری از یادگیری ماشین، واکنش‌های فیزیولوژیک گیاهان به تنش خشکی، تحلیل عوامل تخریب جنگل، ارزیابی فضاهای سبز شهری، مسائل ایمنی و حوادث شغلی، شناسایی عوامل مؤثر بر پراکنش جنگل‌های مانگرو، و نیز ابعاد اجتماعی ـ اقتصادی وابستگی جوامع محلی به جنگل را پوشش می‌دهند. ما "هیأت تحریریه و سردبیر و مجموعۀ انتشارات دانشگاه علوم کشاورزی و منابع طبیعی ساری" معتقدیم که تنها از طریق تولید دانشِ مستند و مبتنی بر داده‌های میدانی و آزمایشگاهی، می‌توان راه‌کارهای مدیریتیِ هوشمندانه و حفاظتی را برای آیندۀ میراث طبیعی این سرزمین کُهن، تاریخی، فرهنگ‌مدار و علمی تدوین کرد. در پایان از تمامی پژوهشگران، نویسندگان و داوران ارزشمند که با دقت علمی، در ارتقای سطح دانش این نشریه سهیم هستند، تیمِ کاری این نشریه، صمیمانه سپاسگزاری می‌کند. امیدوار است این مجموعه، گامی مؤثر در جهت تقویت بنیان‌های علمی بوم‌شناسی جنگل در ایران و راهنمایی برای تصمیم‌گیران حوزۀ بوم‌شناسی و محیطزیستِ جنگل باشد.  </div> <div style="text-align: justify;">Today, understanding ecosystem dynamics using ecological network data analysis is one of the issues that has attracted the attention of researchers around the world. Ecological network science has addressed content such as new indicators of environmental change, social, economic, and ecosystem networks. Due to the complexity of various vital and regional networks in their diverse climates, Iranian forest ecosystems have a complex structure that can be considered one of the strategic and sensitive areas at the global level from an ecological perspective. These ecosystems are more than merely a vegetation cover, a complex network of interactions, or interactions between and within species (biotic and abiotic), geochemical processes, and ecosystem services that play a key role in the biological sustainability of humans and other natural and native organisms, and ensure the survival of life in this geographical area. In the current era, however, these forests are simultaneously affected by natural stresses and increasing human interventions in a sensitive period of various changes, especially climate change in the arid and semi-arid regions of the world. Aiming to create a scientific and specialized platform, this journal aims to open the nodes of knowledge in various fields of forest sciences, especially ecology and forestry, and related sciences, mainly focusing on a deeper understanding of ecosystem dynamics and identifying patterns governing Iranian forests. Studies of complex networks, the structures of plant and wildlife communities, analysis of ecological responses to climate change and its consequences, such as micro-dust, water stress, disruption in production, forest ecology, and sustainable management of forest resources, are among the topics of interest to this journal. This issue attempts to compile a collection of detailed and innovative research, each of which opens a new window toward a better understanding of Iran's forest ecosystems. The articles cover a wide range of topics, such as assessing the accuracy of elevation models and drone remote sensing, investigating biodiversity and biomass, analyzing the structure and dynamics of forest stands, ecosystem services, modeling structural and carbon indices using machine learning, physiological responses of plants to drought stress, analyzing factors of forest degradation, evaluating urban green spaces, safety issues and occupational accidents, identifying factors affecting the distribution of mangrove forests, and the socioeconomic dimensions of local communities' dependence on forests. We, the "Editorial Board, Editor, and Publications Group of Sari University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources", believe that only through the production of documented knowledge based on field and laboratory data, can intelligent management and conservation strategies be developed for the future of the natural heritage of this ancient, historical, culturally-oriented, and scientific land. Finally, the working team of this journal sincerely thanks all the valuable researchers, authors, and reviewers who contribute to the advancement of the level of knowledge of this journal with scientific accuracy.
