چکیده مبسوط
مقدمه و هدف: مناطق حفاظت­ شده به عنوان اصلی­ترین ابزار در تلاش­های جهانی برای حفاظت از تنوع­زیستی محسوب می­شود. اما بدلیل فقدان امکانات و تجهیزات کافی، بسیاری از مناطق حفاظت­ شده در عمل قادر به دست­یابی به اهدف اولیه خود نیستند. بنابراین ارزیابی و تضمین اثر­بخشی مناطق حفاظت ­شده برای حفظ تنوع ­زیستی بخصوص برای نقاط حساس زیستی و برای مدیریت بلند­مدت آنها امری ضروری است. جنگل­های هیرکانی یکی از قدیمی ­ترین جنگل­های معتدل خزان­ کننده در دنیا محسوب می ­شود که بدلیل برخورداری از تنوع ­زیستی گیاهی و جانوری غنی در لیست سایت­های میراث جهانی یونسکو قرار دارد. در سال­های اخیر تنوع ­زیستی این جنگل­ها بدلیل گسترش توسعه ­های انسانی مورد تهدید قرار گرفته است. بنابراین بررسی اثرات اندازه هر یک از فاکتورهای انسانی در روند این تغییرات، می­تواند در اجرای بهتر سیاست­های مدیریتی مناطق سودمند باشد.
مواد و روش­ ها: در این پژوهش داده­های مورد استفاده (فراوانی مرال) از آمار سرشماری ثبت­شده در سازمان حفاظت محیط­زیست و همچنین مصاحبه مستقیم با محیط­بانان مناطق حفاظت­ شده بدست ­آمد. همچنین تغییرات کاربری اراضی (پوشش جنگل و کشاورزی) در طی دهه­ های (۱۹۸۹-۲۰۱۸ میلادی) در طول عرصه مناطق حفاظت­شده مقایسه شدند. داده­ ها بر اساس مدل تعمیم یافته آنالیز شد و در نهایت با استفاده از معیار اطلاعات آکاییکه (QAICc) مدل­های بهتر انتخاب شدند.
یافته­ ها: نتایج نشان داد سالهای تغییرات در طول دوره مورد بررسی در بخش کشاورزی و جنگل معنی­ دار نبوده است. همچنین نتایج نشان داد حدود 747 فرد مرال (89-604 95% CI) در ۲۱ منطقه حضور دارند که حاکی از کاهش 59% نسبت به سال 1988 در اکثر مناطق می­ باشد. همین طور مقایسات آماری بیان می­ کند تعداد محیط­بان اثر معنادار و مثبتی بر فراوانی جمعیت مرال در مناطق دارد (β = 0.26, 95%,CI (0.15-0.38), Relative importance =1)، از سوی دیگر نتایج حاکی از آن است که مناطق حفاظت ­شده با عملکرد مطلوب سهم قابل ­توجهی در حفظ تنوع ­زیستی در گستره جنگل­های هیرکانی دارند.

نتیجه­ گیری: در راستای مطالعات انجام شده پیشنهاد می­ گردد مناطق حفاظت­ شده با تمرکز بر امنیت برای حضور گونه­ ها مورد توجه قرار­گیرند و تلاش شود تا با افزایش ضمانت اجرایی قوانین نسبت به بهبود شرایط زیستگاه­ها برای گونه­ های زیستی ارزشمند آن اقدام ­گردد.
