این مطالعه با هدف بررسی و ارزیابی پوشش ­گیاهی جنگل­کاری­ های سوزنی­ برگ و پهن­ برگ با وسعت 220 هکتار از جنگل­کاری سوزنی­ برگ کاج ­­تدا و جنگل­کاری­ های پهن ­برگ صنوبر و توسکای قشلاقی و مقایسه آن با جنگل طبیعی در پارک جنگلی حفاظت شده بی­ بی ­یانلو آستارا صورت گرفت. تعداد 60 قطعه نمونه 1000 متر مربعی به روش تصادفی­- منظم و با استفاده از شبکه آماربرداری 150×150 متر در جنگل­کاری­ ها و 200×200 متر در جنگل طبیعی برداشت شد. طیف زیستی گیاهان بر اساس شکل­ های رویشی رانکایر و پراکنش جغرافیایی گونه­ ها براساس روش زهری (Zohary) تعیین شد. نتایج حاصل از بررسی نشان داد که تعداد 92 گونه گیاهی متعلق به 79 جنس و 48 خانواده در این پارک جنگلی حضور دارند که بیشترین تعداد گونه­ ها متعلق به خانواده­ های  Rosaceae،  Lamiaceae، Aspidiaceae و  Poaceae بود. از نظر شکل زیستی،  همی­کریپتوفیت ها و فانروفیت­ ها در مجموع با 67 درصد شکل­ های رویشی غالب بودند. بررسی پراکنش جغرافیایی گیاهان منطقه نشان داد که عناصر گیاهی ناحیه اروپا-  سیبری با 28 درصد بیشترین عناصر گیاهی منطقه مورد مطالعه را تشکیل  می­ دهند.
